James S. Nowak
James (Jim) grew up in southwest suburban Oak Lawn and attended Harold L. Richards High School. He received his B.A. at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa. Jim then returned to Chicago for law school where he attended The UIC John Marshall Law School. Jim lives in Brookfield with his wife Lauren, their son, Charlie, and dog, Judge.

Experience
Jim practices primarily in the field of real estate and handling residential real estate transactions. Jim is also experienced in corporate law and bankruptcy law, all of which inform his real estate practice. Prior to joining DKMO, Jim practiced in these areas at a small law firm in Chicago.
