Drost Adds Kivlahan to Law Firm’s Name
Geoge T. Drost announced that his law firm’s name has been changed to Drost & Kivlahan, Ltd. to reflect Thomas W. Kivlahan’s ownership in the business. Formerly known as George T. Drost and Associates, Ltd. the five attorney general practice law firm was founded in 1987 and is located at 11 S. Dunton Avenue in Arlington Heights’ Central Business District.

Drost & Kivlahan, Ltd. concentrates in corporate law, estate planning, probate, real estate, international law and litigation. The firm represents over 150 companies throughout the Northwest Suburbs.
The firm’s other professionals include attorneys Thomas E. McClellan, Scott A. Kozlov and Rhonda S. Jensen and paralegals Lynn M. May and Ann Marie Birriel. George Drost’s father, John A. Drost, serves as of counsel to the firm.
The firm represents several not-for-profit corporations and each of the attorneys is involved in charitable, civic, and professional organizations. Drost is active in the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce and is an adjunct professor at John Marshall Law School. Kivlahan serves as of counsel to the Greater O’Hare Association of Industry and Commerce.
An Arlington Heights native, Kivlahan joined George T. Drost and Associates, Ltd. in 1990. He graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University in 1983 and received a juris doctorate from the University of Chicago Law School in 1986. Kivlahan lives in Arlington Heights with his wife, Elizabeth S. O’Kelly, who serves as General counsel at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
