In 1990, Tom Kivlahan placed the notice below in the Northwest Suburban Bar Association (NWSBA) Bulletin Board. As a result, he was contacted by George Drost and subsequently joined the firm, then known as George T. Drost and Associates Ltd.
It reads: “You can go home again–Experienced Attorney seeks associate position. I am a 1986 University of Chicago Law School graduate and a native of Arlington Heights. I am returning to A.H. after practicing in Chicago for four years. My litigation experience, local clients and contacts with major law firms in Chicago and Wisconsin make me an ideal candidate for the right local law firm.”
